Poverty…

A few years ago Niki and I were struggling with debt.  We felt like we were always behind on the bills and were barely making it each month.  We cut and scraped and tried but it never felt like enough.  This feeling is so common among families and adults.  We can work so hard but at the end of the month there just isn’t enough money.

This Sunday we dig into the story of the widow of Zarephath.  In the middle of severe drought she is worried that she and her only son will starve but they still care for a stranger who comes to their home.  In her poverty she loved others and in her need God reached out to her.  God is always reaching out to us in our need.  Join us Sunday to hear her story!

Grace and Peace,
Travis
