Halloween is almost here! Halloween is a fun holiday to celebrate candy, costumes, and all things spooky. It is in this month where many watch scary movies and do scary things. It is a time where we remember death as the ultimate fear of many, but in the church, we see death differently. This Sunday we celebrate All Saints Day. It is on this day that we remember those who have passed in the last year. We celebrate their lives and witness and we trust in faith that they are not gone, but are with God. It is the day that we remember through Jesus we see even death as something that is Holy and not to be feared. This celebration is one of the things that make us different than society and that is why it is so important. I hope you will join us on Sunday for celebration and remembrance and costumes! See you Sunday at 11 am in the Basement!
Grace and Peace,
