Forgive Us…

Sunday was such a blessing!  To get to see the faces of those we worship with while also worshipping with friends online was amazing!  Thank you to all who made it happen and let us pray that we do not get a COVID spike after spring break, which would cause us to go back online.

This week we study, “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”  Do you hold onto hurts from your past?  Have those affected you today and affected your decision-making?  Do you hold grudges and feel tied to moments in your past?  Jesus wanted to set us free from both our failures and the pain in our past. That is the key to this idea of receiving and giving forgiveness!  Join us Sunday as we ask what it means to be set free from the things that hold us tied to our past. I hope you will join us as we ask these questions and more in-person and online via Facebook Live or Youtube Live on Sunday at 11 am.

Give us this day…

Last Sunday we asked you to pray for God’s will to be at work in your life. Have you been praying for that?  Where you do you think God is calling you?  These are challenging questions, but the good news is that God will equip us for that journey!

“Give us this day our daily bread.”  This prayer gets to the heart of praying for the things we need. Not the things we want, not the things we hope for, but the things we need!  What do you need in your life?  What do you need to follow God’s will? This week we examine the third element of the Lord’s prayer. It is always hard to figure out what we want and what we actually NEED. Prayer is essential to finding the answers to these hard questions. I hope you will join us as we ask these questions and more in-person and online via Facebook Live or Youtube Live on Sunday at 11 am.

“Thy Kingdom Come…”

How has your prayer journey been this week?  Have you been trying to picture your prayers to God this week?  Have you spent more time in prayer?  Prayer is something that we have to work at. It is powerful the moment we do it, but we can never stop learning and growing in our prayer life.

“Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”  This week we examine the second element of the Lord’s prayer. What does it mean to ask for God’s will here on earth?  What is God’s will and how can we know what it is?  Are we part of God’s will on earth? This little piece can lead us to so many questions!  I hope you will join us as we ask these questions and more online on Facebook Live or Youtube Live on Sunday at 11 am.

The Lord’s Prayer

“Our father who art in heaven…” is the prayer we have been praying for most of our lives. Have you ever stopped to think about what this prayer can teach us about how we pray?  Each line of this prayer is meant to both help us and show us what prayer is and how powerful it can be. Over the next few weeks, we will be delving into this timeless prayer and how it can renew our faith and prayer life for our times. As we begin the season of Lent I hope you will join us online on Facebook Live or Youtube Live on Sunday at 11 am.

Am I Enough?

This coming Sunday is the last week of our series on Enough.  I hope it has made you think deeply about how you have enough in your life, and all the ways God is there for you.  This Sunday we ask the final and most important question, Am I enough?  We dig into the ways we doubt ourselves, the ways we worry and fear, the ways we fail to see who we truly are.  This last year has been the most difficult of many of our lives, and it is easy to lose ourselves when we are stressed and struggling.  This week we listen for God’s answer when we ask, Am I enough? Join us online on Facebook Live or Youtube Live on Sunday at 11 am.
